In 2019 I first discovered Rosarito after taking a girl's trip with my best friend. We stayed at an Air BnB in a private community hosted by the coolest old man. He was witty AF, full of wisdom, cooked for us, and shot the shit and we never had to leave his place. I was truly touched by magic. Shortly after returning to Las Vegas, I decided that I wanted to be able to do exactly as he did: Host and cook for like-minded people/creatives in a beautiful vortex by the ocean. I love Nature. When quarantine hit, we took a leap of faith. And the timing couldn't have been better, because the friend I had made (my muse) passed away only a short few weeks ago and I feel honored to carry on a little legacy he had left for over 40 years, hosting guests.
As a LOVER of travel desiring to share that with Aaron, I knew we wouldn't be doing much this year. Instead, I figured we could hold space in an intimate setting for people to safely visit US. Our hope is that you come with minimal expectations, enjoy the flow, and leave inspired. We hope to leave your bellies feeling satisfied, and your hearts equally as full. We have a passion for all things wellness-based and truly believe the energy you put out is what you get back in this world.
In my perfect reality, we'd be running a barter system and leaning/supporting one another. Unfortunately, it's not and is a lot of the reason why we left the US. Now we have created our own. We share our space as a means to survive here and I cook my food for us to be able to eat and share. The ocean provides the creative space and downloads for us to work on our other projects, and everyone who comes to see us adds to the richness of our lives with their own stories. We love breaking (and eating) bread. -Heidi and Aaron
